ADC COVID PROTOCOL

BEFORE ARRIVING AT THE STUDIO

* Parents will be required to sign a waiver stating that to the best of their knowledge, no one in their immediate family (household) is showing symptoms of or has been exposed to COVID-19.  This Parental Waiver can be found on our parent portal and is signed at registration.

* Parents of our younger dancers- please make sure to have your child use your home restroom before leaving for the studio. This will greatly help us with bathroom breaks since parents will not be permitted to wait inside the studio.

IN STUDIO COVID PROCEDURES:

* Temperatures will be taken upon entering. Any child recording a temperature of 100.4 or greater will not be permitted to enter. The student may join the class online at home at this time. The student will not be permitted to attend live classes until they have been fever free for 48 hours.

* Students, Teachers and ADC Staff are required to wear masks at all times inside the studio especially in “common areas”. This is a state mandate. We will attempt to take as many “fresh air” breaks outside as possible.

* Students may only enter with their proper class shoes and a water bottle. Parents are asked to put shoes in a clear plastic bag marked with your child’s name. No handbags, dance bags, food, phones or unnecessary equipment will be permitted inside.

* Social distancing will be implemented at all times. Students will be directed to their classroom where spaces will be blocked out for social distancing. No physical contact of any kind is permitted during this time.

* Hand sanitizing stations will be set up in all common areas as well as the classrooms.

* Air Purification Systems have been installed in each classroom and in all common areas.

* All classrooms and common areas are wiped down and sanitized after each class. Bathrooms will be wiped down after each use.

* UV light wands will be utilized for additional sanitizing of all areas.

* Class start and finish times have been scattered on the schedule to eliminate congestion in the common areas, halls and entrances/exits.

* The lobby waiting areas, homework room, playroom and kitchen will be CLOSED at this time.

*Dancers are only permitted inside the studio if they have a scheduled class that day.

* Any non-registered dancers (regular or drop in dancers) will not be permitted in the building at this time. This includes; Parents, Guardians, Siblings, Other Family Members, Friends, Etc.

This is a state mandate.

  • Parents/Guardians are asked to drop off their child or remain in their cars, if the parent stays
  • We have all of our parent’s contact information and if there is an emergency, we will call immediately. We are asking that all parents look at your profile on the Parent Portal to ensure the correct contact information is on there.
  • We ask for your patience and understanding in these matters.

We ask all ADC families and staff to follow these guidelines for the safety and well-being of our students and their families.
