Competition Team

Our Competition Dance Team was created for dancers who are very passionate about dance. This allows dancers to perform more frequently throughout the year; not only at competitions, but at festivals, charity events and local events. Our goal is to develop dedicated, well rounded and diverse dancers.

ADC Dance Team Members are held to a high standard. In order to maintain a level of excellence, ADC Team members have additional classes, rehearsal times and requirements. We require each dancer to be enrolled in at least one ballet class, their level technique class, one class of the genre team they are chosen for, one Acro class and the competition team choreography class. We also require each dancer to enroll in our summer intensive classes and various boot camps!

All dancers MUST audition or be invited before they are selected for the team (even if you have been accepted before you will need to re-audition each season). All casting decisions will be made by the Team and Studio Directors as well as the audition panel to best showcase the dancer’s talents. Your placement is based on your audition and your previous training. If your dancer is currently an ADC Team member they are also being evaluated on classroom work progress, attendance, work ethic, teamwork and on stage performance.
